Newsletter – Spring 2012 March 1, 2012 – Posted in: News

Another year brings encouragement by continued interest in the printed page, especially language Scriptures. Calendar season is now over, but February was a busy month ~ many requests coming from contacts overseas. These would include migrant workers, seafarer centers, mission groups, Bible schools, foreign students and others reaching out to their local ethnic communities. May the Lord continue to bless His Word, wherever it is sent. Isaiah 55:11, Eccles. 11:1. Soon the time for outreach will be over and we will be called home, together with all the ransomed of the redeemed. As we look at the world around, surely it cannot be long now. May our onward step grow firmer as our upward look grows brighter! Thanks so much for your continued prayers both for the work as well as for the workers! ~ May the Lord bless you as you serve Him also.

London, ENGLAND – I would be most grateful if you institute in Myanmar. As I am ministering God among poor people I need some resources for the ministry. I know you provide some needed Bibles and books for ministers in developing countries. I would also like to have Gospel tracts and booklets in Burmese. Good to hear from you. Could you send 50 copies of the Konkani Gospel of John, if so that would be great. If you would have one other booklet in Konkani please send us 50 of that too.

Yangoon, MYANMAR – I a lecturer at a Bible could supply any texts, Scriptures or any other material in Punjabi. We run a small church in London UK (Hayes) where the majority of the congregation are Punjabi.

Southampton, ENGLAND – Most Sikhs, Hindus & even address as a possible source for helpful literature in the Nepali dialect. There are a number of these dear brothers and sisters who have been relocated to various places here in North Carolina and other states as well. We are especially interested in any ministry which has been translated in the Nepali dialect from the valued writings of the so-called early brethren. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can give us regarding such ministry, and if you have a list of available ministry in Nepali, we would greatly appreciate it. Muslims don’t really know their scriptures and go on what they have heard from others and usually with their own twist on it. So when we do seminars on the various faiths, which can be less than two hours long, we usually say that the attendees now probably know more than the average person of that faith. The languages used in the scriptures of all the religions are only read and understood by a select few. Most folk can recite some of their scriptures without really understanding it. If you think the testimonies on the website are useful, you are welcome to use them.
